The Beverly Hills Century City Legal Secretaries Association (BHCCLSA) was chartered by Legal Professionals, Incorporated (LPI) in 1948, and adopted a name change in 1984.  In joining BHCCLSA, you also become a member of LPI.

 

Our primary purpose is continuing legal education.  BHCCLSA and LPI provide members with many opportunities to increase knowledge and improve skills.  Classes and seminars are sponsored in addition to the educational speakers featured at monthly BHCCLSA meetings.

 

LPI also offers membership in specialized areas of the law, such as civil litigation, criminal law, probate/estate planning, family law, law office administration, and transactional law.  Each section provides a quarterly newsletter, which contains changes and updates in the law from throughout the State of California. 

 

LPI also administers the California Certified Legal Secretary (CCLS) certification exam, for secretaries with at least three years experience.

• 1991 February hosted Third Quarterly LSI Conference

• 1996 Deanna A. Pepe was LSI President to 1998

• 1996 Hosted LSI Annual Conference in May to Celebrate Deanna’s Installation                     as LSI President
